Ina DixonIna Dixon leads History United, an initiative of the Danville Regional Foundation in Danville, Virginia. With History United, Ina works to engage the community with its history through collaborative programing that showcases personal memories of Southside Virginia and north central North Carolina. After receiving her BA from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland and her MA in History from the University of Chicago, Ina has continued to build upon her abiding interest and expertise in memory, community and history. Before her work in Danville, Ina taught history at the Madeira School, an all-girls’ secondary school in McLean, Virginia.
