levinKevin M. Levin is an award-winning high school history instructor, who has taught both in Virginia and in Massachusetts. In addition to teaching he has worked extensively helping history teachers develop their pedagogical skills and understanding of the Civil War era, Reconstruction and other key moments in American history. He has also published extensively on topics related to the teaching of American history and the Civil War specifically in popular magazines and academic journals. In 2012 his book, Remembering the Battle of the Crater: War as Murder was published by the University Press of Kentucky.
