Elizabeth Mulcahy is a social studies teacher for Albemarle County Schools. She is currently teaching US and modern European history. Elizabeth has developed curriculum and lessons for the Virginia Center for Digital History, the Virginia Experiment and America on the World Stage Teaching American History Projects. After traveling to China with educators from around the country and taking students on World War II trips to Europe her instructional interests focus on bringing the world to American students using international experiences and digital resources. Elizabeth is from Staunton, Virginia where she lives with her husband Adam who is also a teacher and their two children Ethan and Abigail.
