Shrader

Nicole Shrader has been teaching social studies at Charlottesville High School for five years. In that time, she has taught various levels of Virginia and United States Government, Advanced Placement US Government and Politics, academic level World History and Geography, and developed a thriving Advanced Placement Human Geography course. Before teaching at the high school level, Nikki taught general and advanced Civics and Economics at Louisa County Middle School. Nikki has been active in the TAH lecture series since 2007, and was a TAH Teacher Scholar for Module 1 of the America on the World Stage grant project in 2010. Nikki has also participated in the We the People Seminar at the Center for the Constitution at Montpelier. She graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in American Politics, and a Master of Teaching with a concentration in Secondary Social Studies Education. She is a native of Lancaster County, Virginia.
