Julie Stolze teaches freshmen students at the Rowan Early College High School in Salisbury, N.C. She holds teaching credentials in English language arts, history/social sciences, and Spanish. Stolze was a founding member of the RCEC faculty when the program opened in August of 2008 on the north campus of the Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She has been actively involved as a teacher leader in the North Carolina New Schools organization. Stolze has presented to educators at local, state, and national levels. Her experience includes teaching at the middle, high school, and college levels in North Carolina, Kansas, and California. Additionally she has served as a curriculum coach at the middle grades level. She was selected as the 2010-2011 Rowan Salisbury School District Teacher of the Year. Stolze, a Nationally Board Certified Teacher (Early Adolescent-English Language Arts), holds a Bachelors degree in Spanish and a Masters degree in Teaching.
